09.09.16 - West Bridgford Gets New School Bus Service

We’ve launched a new school minibus service for students travelling from West Bridgford. The introduction of the new service follows a surge in numbers of children travelling to Ockbrook School from the Nottingham suburbs.

The daily minibus leaves County Hall travelling through the city with additional pick-ups in Bramcote, Beeston, Chilwell and Wollaton.

Year 11 West Bridgford student, Faith Tucker said: “The new bus to West Bridgford is great and so much easier to get us to and from school each day. The drivers are friendly and it’s a good opportunity get some quiet reading done.”

Headmaster, Tom Brooksby said: “We have ever increasing numbers of students travelling from Nottingham and want to make their daily journey as easy as possible. Our wonderful school is a bit of a hidden gem from families in this area and they ought to know we are a viable option for those looking for outstanding private education.

“The extended service picks up students in their distinctive scarlet blazers, delivering them to and from Ockbrook each day and is one of three minibus services that we provide.”
