13.08.15 - A Level Results 2015

We are celebrating again this summer with another fantastic A Level performance.

Headmaster, Mr Tom Brooksby said: “Our students have again surpassed themselves, I congratulate them and their excellent teachers on a job well done.”

With 45% at grades A*-A and a pleasing 74% at A*-B, the school maintains its reputation for excellence in the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire region.

Special mentions go to 18 year old Caroline Morgan from Littleover who achieved A Levels in Biology (A*), Chemistry (A*), Physics (A) and Mathematics (A); Charlotte Brown, aged 18, who lives in Denby Village, Ripley for her achievements in Art (A*), Business Studies (A) and Food Technology (A); and 17 year old Head Girl Emily Kent from Holbrook for her success in Music (A*), German (A) and Theatre Studies (A).

Tom Brooksby added: “Our students have done so well and I am particularly proud of the breadth of subjects at which they have excelled, they have had a first rate sixth form experience”.
